Do you Believe You Have A Mind When Dead?

Its kinda scary to me but I keep thinking about the day when I die. Will I have no control and have no ability to think? Or will I be body with a mind, able to think.

I think that depends on the moment that you died as well as your mindstream in your current life; after you die your mindstream (not your personality and body) wanders around some sort of hell that projects images related to your karma (if you killed animals all your life then animals would attack you); it wanders around for a certain period of time and then goes into another being (you can call if reincarnation if you want) but your personality, basically "you" as in the previous life is gone, and in this sense you never really die or are born it is all continuous

I believe that your body is a tool used to perceive whats around you, and when it dies you lose use of it. Your mind lives on in a sleepless dream where you can eventually hone your psychological capacity to revisit any time place person or memory just through shear will.

Much like how a blind or deaf person gains greater perception in certain fields because their preception is limited. (ex. blind people have really good hearing)

And once you can conjure your own world it doesn't matter that your bodys dead because your memories will create new life.

I also sometimes believe that I may not even be alive right now, Maybe I died in the past and by honing my psychic ability I've created a new life in my mind to distract me from the sadness of losing my body.

This also explains phenomina such as Dejavu where you're seeing things that have already happened because you control whats happening as you've already preceived it in your mind.

However this also creates problems that could cause psychological breaks, moments of violent mood swings and depression because it inevitably questions your existance as a whole.
