| Deuteronomy 13:7-11 states:
"If your brother, the son of your father or of your mother, or your son or daughter, or the spouse whom you embrace, or your most intimate friend, tries to secretly seduce you, saying. “Let us go and serve other gods,” … you must show him no pity, you must not spare
him or conceal his guilt. No, you must kill him, your hand must strike the first blow in putting him to death and the hands of the rest of the people following. You must stone him to death, since he has tried to divert you from Yahweh your God.”?(there are many different verses that have similar points, just thought this one stood out)
I personally think that whichever group of people who wrote this book may have wanted to prepare for, say, a crusade simply to get people by their side? Or to tell a race that they are the Chosen, because their empire was wandering around in the desert at the time the book was written? What are your opinoins?
OH yea, you can't say I misinterpreted the verse...Deuteronomy13:1 -- "Whatever I am now commanding you, you must keep and observe, adding nothing to it, taking nothng away."

there are contradictions all over the bible that spit in my face
its to easy its like fish in a barrel
god loves you but he has to have a huge bunch of greedy factions who believe in the same thing fight it out and then one will behead as many people as possible in a attempt to prove there point
the real reason Christinsanity is so dominant and America exists is people were fleeing themselves
they would not stop killing each other over small opinions
the word clan well was not just from highlander and definitely was not just in Ireland
i could sit here and type my theory but id rather address a problem government is too big. Its fatter then the people it whines about.

Chances are, you are a kid.
It's an expression. I know it must have been hard to understand, there was no soap box. You're preaching to people who would tear you a part and I happened to be first in line.
