| they might have been "created" or what ever way before we started off, therefor they could be a lot smarter and advanced.
But on the other hand, they could be less smarter than us, all theories are fair tbh.
And if other life does exist, then there's prolly a difference between us all, some being further than others? |

We are a very intelligent race, and we already are forseeing what we are doing too our own planet. You may say the aliens may be smarter and more eco friendly, but every being has too evolve. They just dont just start off as smart as they are, at one point they had to have been at our level. Other life out there, whether bacteria, or beings much like ourselves is not 2 far fetch. Aliens dont nessacerly have to look much different then ourselves, most scientists say that earth is the exact ingrediants for what life at our level needs. So if you have life forms with our kind of enviroment who is too say they wont evolutionize any different then we did, maybe not exactly but pretty close. |

"Aliens" aren't from just one civilization. And I'm sure that at least one of those intelligent civilizations are far more advanced then us technology-wise. You can't just say that we're intelligent, because compared to other civilizations in the universe, we're probably far, far behind.
You're right, life forms just don't start off as smart as they are, but the universe is fucking old, so how do we know there aren't any life forms that could possibly be millions of years older than us? Don't you think they would have developed some sort of technology? Because human beings definitely have in a short period of time. |

Think about it, people say we are destorying our planet with polution and such(global warming/climate change). Nuclear technology maybe insignificant, maybe there are more powerful forces that can be generated or recreated more powerful then our planets nuclear bomb, who's 2 say if there is life out there, that they haven't discovered it? Alot of ways a civilization can destory itself, and alot of ways a force of nature can destroy a civilization. The longer we hang around, our own destruction is inevitable. For a civilization 2 be so much more advance, and lasted not even billions, millions of years longer then we have, is unlikely. A planet can run out of resources, be destroyed through global war, natural disaster, gamma rays, asteroids ect ect ect ect. Our planet hasn't even been around as long as others and we have already had the destruction of the jurassic peroid. Shit happens. |

| there's prolly a high chance of what you are saying, as a lot of planets are different from our own, there's still a lot we haven't discovered, that they might have, be it more powerful or weaker who knows, the nuclear bomb isn't the most powerful weapon we have anyway, I don't think anyway >_> Could be wrong.
If they do exist, there's a chance we will never see them, tbh.
as far as we know we are alone, and it stays like that untill we make full contact with them. |

| IMO, you're crazy if you dont think theres life besides ours. An "alien" can be any form of life, not just the little green things you think about when you watch a movie. Watch this:

You need a perfect planet to have life. Perfect everything. I think it's a rare thing to have a habitable planet like our own, but if you think there's no others in something that big, you're crazy. There's life out there, doesnt matter if its a lightyear or a million away

Yeah, but it needs to be perfectly formed for their needs. Doesnt have to have oxygen, water, or solar heat, it just needs to be able to support whatever they need. We might see a uninhabitable planet that would be perfect for something else.
