Here are the forum rules, to which a punishment and or action will compliment the offence. I for one am tired of having to repeat myself constantly to people who think that this forum has no rules when it does.

Spamming
We reserve the right to remove your posts, if you are caught spamming. Spamming is when someone posts something in a topic not relevent to the topics theme, such as:

Billy: I like the new gear its cool, what do you think? Sam: lolol thats stupid!

Sam is spamming, he would get a boot to the head IRL if I was there but instead the post will be DELETED straight away, any repitition and a forum ban could be in order.

Double posting
Use the Edit button, its in the top right corner of your original post. Don't post again on an topic unless its your own topic and you're bumping it.

Example: Billy: This picture is cool [Image] Bily: I forgot to say it's of my friends! lol

Quoting
Do not quote someone unless you intend to add a message. Just mindless quoting without typing anything for yourself is considered spam, and will be dealt with the same way.

Topic Bumping
Now, you can normally bump your topic. This means posting again in the topic YOU made, but. You can only do it once, and only if nobody has replied to it in the last 12 hours. Do it anymore than that and your topic will be locked.

Trolling
I personally hate forum trolls, Trolling is when you attack someone in a less than obvious way, this includes through pm and posts. Trolls will have their posts DELETED and if they continue, banned from the forum.

Example: Billy: I have a pet dog, called cassie =) Sam: I hope your dog dies, I think your really stupid posting these topics, lolol who talks about pets anyway?

(Although this is an Obvious trolling attack, smart trolls can word their posts to seem harmless but are really 'Trolling' the person for a reaction).

Advertisements
This means your own server, or another server. Do not advertise them here, your post will be DELETED and or topic closed.

Swearing, Profane material and indecent posting
Cosa Nostra caters for all kinds of WoW fans, no matter what their age, gender or race they are welcome to play and enjoy the game with us. Anyone found posting anything offensive or diragatory will be facing swift discipline, that means topics on sex, drugs, posts with swearing and demeaning manners. The topics will be closed, and edited or deleted so the offensive material is removed.

Remember you're not the only person on this forum, beware of younger users whom don't quite understand and show patience with them. Also keep swearing to yourself.

Posting in Old topics
This has already been highlighted before but when you go to read a topic, at the very top in the middle of the post is a DATE if the date is way over 2 weeks then posting in that topic is considered SPAM, and your post will be DELETED and the topic closed. The only time you CAN post in an old topic is if its YOURS and it's had NO replies, otherwise DON'T bother posting at all!.

Posting in GM application
Another annoyance is people posting "You're hated" in the GM application, don't. We only need ONE person to tell them that not 90000 of you, once you see the topic has been replied to and they have been told that they cannot apply because of their forum status or other reasons, then that topic has expired.

You CAN post in a topic if the person has not been told they cannot apply because of their status or another reason, or if they have followed rules and you want to ENCOURAGE or PRAISE their application, but you must be ELITE status or higher to be able to post anything like that. If you are NOT Elite or above then you CANNOT post in that topic, same goes for the topic poster. You're not allowed to post in your own topic.

Meaningless posts
This is also spam but it will be highlighted here because people seem to do it a lot in old topics or in general. This is when you post a topic which has no real meaning and or post something that is shorter than 4 letters, more often the word LOL is posted.

Example: Billy: <Topic: i like oranges> lol Sam: lol Mary: what?

Billy posted a topic about oranges, and then just put lol. Thats a meaningless and stupid topic, it will be deleted and any oncurring spam in that topic will also be deleted.

Posting the obvious
This is not amusing, this is also counting as spam and meaningless post. This is when someone asks a question or query about something and everyone being the helpful spammer they are(Don't try to say you're helpful when 9/10 your posts are made a few hours or days after the post has been made and you know full well that there is a date on that and somebody else posted an answer), post the same answer and everyone else joins in, thinking their answer is best.

Example: Billy: I don't know how to find the trainer? Sam: They are in the cities Mary: The trainers in the city Joe: He's in the city lol! Peter: I saw him in the city by the cart thing..

Do you see a trend? They all posted the same thing but in a slightly different way, Sam already answered the question although it wasn't very informational he still stated the obvious, and now everyone else trying to help or spam, they have their stupid reasons to post what Sam said. Unless you have anything to ADD to the topic which can help further like, posting an image or giving exact description of the location. Then don't post at all.

Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.
Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.

A. If you found a bug yourself, please take a picture and post it here. If you see someone bug abusing or hacking then post the screenshot here

Q. Someone asked me for my login information, do I give it them?
A. No, Never give your login information to Anyone, Staff will never ask for your login informatin and if anyone does ask you, report them immediatly.

Q. My brother uses the same account as me, is that ok?
A. Not really, by letting your brother use your account then its your responsability if he does anything against server rules. If you're banned from the server then its really your own fault for allowing him access. Never share your account with anyone.
