| With the upcoming election, Obama supports gay marriage. McCaine chooses to squeeze out of the topic.
I personally have no problem with gay people, and letting them get married is their choice. I mean, straight individuals get married, why can't they? The only reason they couldn't get married, as I see, would be because of the religion factor.
My question is, what are your opinions on gay marriage? Should it be legal? What are your reasons for thinking so?

| Realize the reason Gays, want to marry is more of a beneficial factor for them, so they can have rights as a Straight married couple would.
The rights are if let's say a married gay couple is legalized, then they can put their husband (or) wife in the benefits list in case anything happens.
This also applies to hospitals if they die, then the widowed gay person would get the rights of a married couple would.
Edit: Forgot about that "love" thing, but really marriage doesn't give you the automatic love factor, some gays have been "partners" for 10-15 years, and
marriage isn't really a big deal if it was just that "love" it's mainly to give you rights to put your lover on the benefits list in case the person dies, or goes in a coma. |

| im not sure if it is exactly about rights but more about money
theres probly not a law preventing a person from doing the same things just by knowing them
But on a important note it might be more along the lines of what lawyers want.
marry some one then label that person insane and take over there accounts.
just kill them for insurance or taking more then half with devorce.
Guess what job would be between all that prosacuters, lawyers ,accountants and paralegals
that makes for one large special intrest group full of people who arnt even gay
why is government in the business of marrage anyway
i thought it just recongnised it not made it
My point is get your but to a notery and fricken have your friend named executor of estate
that way they can be there when you coma /die or what ever

| There is nothing wrong with "homosexual" men or women, they are just like everyone else. I mean, if anyone here was gay, they wouldn't see anything wrong with like-ing who they are with, as "homosapiens" see nothing wrong with loving the opposite sex.
Just forgive and let go, they have the right in California already, they are happy, and hopefully all the wonderful gay couples in the world will be happy too, sooner or later.
