Exaltehones artwork (just learning)

Well I was fooling around with Photoshop trying to get a feel for how it works cause I have used GIMP cause I haven't been able to get a copy of Photoshop. Also I am not that great at making things like this so I would like some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism from you guys to help me improve.
I said constructive so that means please no flaming. Smile

PSA: This is NOT a server advertisement this server died a long time ago but was the first one I gm'd on so I had made a vote banner and I repeat this is NOT an advertisement!!!

Edit: yes I put it in my sig cause It is the first decent piece I have made. lol

Try watching one or two random youtube videos on how to photoshop, it might be a bit too much at once, but experiment with what you see and you'll start getting the hang of it. It's all about testing out how everything works and what you can do, messing around always surprises you with something you'd never think of. Tutorials are a good place to get ideas, but don't get stuck on just using them, as you'll perfect what you're being taught, but you won't be able to go with your own style.
